Hi everyone,
I was originally sequencing my Vienna instruments as plugins within Studio, but now I want to control them as midi tracks, and run it through a software called Vienna Ensemble, which allows me to control the mix of them better and run more of them, but also use a different audio interface than I'm using for the MPC itself.
I have a midi keyboard plugged into the in of the MPC, and the out is going to my audio interface midi in. I have it working so when you play the keyboard, you get notes in Ensemble, and I've got it so Studio is recording notes in it's little DAW window, but when I play back the sequence, I'm not getting it to play notes in Ensemble. I have the midi channel in Ensemble set to Omni, but I've also tried selecting the MPC, MPC public, and the interface in. The MPC Studio is giving all the indications that it is playing back MIDI, but Ensemble doesn't seem to be receiving it unless it's played in real time on the keyboard.
Does anybody have any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? I've been at this for hours and scoured the internet but haven't figured it out.
