Wood Sides

Anyone making wood sides for the 2000 or the XL?
I like the walnut sides that ghostinmpc has on his site for the 3000 and the 60. Those sides would look good on the 2000, especially if they were designed just like the 3000. I wish someone were selling them commercially.

Not sure you would like his sort of pricing though?

Yeah I wouldn't expect it to be cheap. But if it looks good, I'd order it.

His MPC60/3000 sides are somewhere around $260-300US.

If I had an MPC60 or 3000, it would be worth it. But that's too pricey for a 2K.

Mpc stuff has the "wood side panels kit for mpc2000xl". More of a front panel thing, but it's only $100

Those aren't too bad. But the palm rest is too bulky for the 2k's. a 3k style palm rest and 60 style sides would look much better.

I think the MPC stuff ones look ugly, just putting them out there. I honestly don't feel like the XL would look that great with any additions, especially since the top and sides of the chassis are one piece. Makes sense on a 60//3000 because they already have the plastic side pieces to replace. But, to each their own. I don't know of any wood side pieces other than the MPC stuff ones.

^^^ I saw that unit too. Pretty pricy for ANY 2kxl, IMO. You could easily come up on a 4k for that loot, might even have some change left
