Exporting tracks to audio

Hey all, can anybody confirm to me if the tracks that we can export are bounced through the effects (either pad or program effects)
so far ive been producing to play live off the MPC standalone app, but its coming to a time for me to mixdown for master & im gonna have to drop into PT or Logic to get a reasonable number of effect slots & bus processing goin on..

I've just done a test with a distortion unit(more evident fx) in a program insert and it exports through them. Anyway you can do the test yourself.

I was using jack osx on mac which enables you to run mpc app standalone along side your favourite daw... This setup works as if the mpc app is like a hardware mpc and the daw is a tape recorder or live mixer... (im on pc more now so i use rearoute which is easier to use)

I use reaper and pretty much use it as a buss mixer.. (i group all kicks to one channel in reaper, all snare all toms samples bass etc.. You now have 32 mono tracks(16 stereo) to output from mpc software)

Means i can do sidechaining and parameter linking that mpc soft cant do mixing wise..

TRack exporting means it has to be done in realtime though..(if your using effect processing in the daw.. as you go..) To me i'm all good with it..

What i get from using it this way...
1. can record live drumming beats and record it in daw with stems..
2. Better mixing and routing capabilities including sidechaining, parameter modulation(reaper) etc
3. Still have mpc transport as master..
4. Can record and then arrange audio loops in reaper(or daw) or arrange in mpc if i want to...
5. your daw has better stability with 3rd party plugins that mpc mite still be having trouble with.
6. You can also setup midi to virtually connect to your daw.. ie one instance kontakt can be setup in daw, but you can sequence it in mpc software with separate tracks using midi channels. doing this means you have one kontakt instance and it can be routed in your daw.. Easy to setup if you work with hardware synths sound module. (need to use/ create iac driver for this)

cons..
1. setting up jackosx can be confusing at first.
2. no offline bounce..
3. working with 2 different master apps.. Can break the mpc controller workflow.

Once you set your daw up as a template its quick and easy... There's a process to setup jackkosx you must open jacksox first then the other two apps and choose jackosx for the core audio driver. Then connect the daw and mpc apps virtually in the jackosx app.


I'd suggest using reaper for it, as it's the lightest daw for this type of stuff.. Your not obligated to buy the app within the first 30 days but after the 30 days its just a nag screen for you to buy(5 seconds) I would suggest buying it anyway for 70 dollars... (unless use have vst3 plugins..reaper does not support vst3)
