problem cant change to from drum track to midi track

Hi im having a issue i have the akai os at the moment 2.13 i think because my jjos 2xl was acting funny i was having problems getting my pads to act right with it so ive gone back i will get it sorted in the future though.

my problem with the normal os is i cant seem to scroll from a drum track to a midi track i was gonna add some bass to a sample beat and its just froze on drum track the program bit used to scroll to but thats just froze too am i missing some setting or something its always just worked everything else is ok though

Anyone? im dying to get back to making stuff i forgot to add i changed the pad sensors but i dont think thats the problem since i posted i changed to jjos free version to see if the problem is there and it still was.Anyone else had this problem i thought id finally got a 100 percent working mpc then this happened.
