is there a way to have input thru turned on by default? mine always goes back to off when i turn the MPC back on.

other settings like midi thru are saved when turning back on but not input thru. i'm on free JJOS 3.16. it's kind of annoying to always have to remember doing that after startup.

thanks

Hey Im not sure if you have figured it out by now but...... I think AutoLoad is what you need. Just save your settings as a project/song, then under the Load menu choose that Project/Song to "Autoload" and you should be good to go. I do this alot because Im always adding midi channels or making adjustments so autoload saves me time because I dont have to constantly rebuild songs everytime I start a new project. Hope this helps you.

Thanks a lot! I already gave up on that, but this sounds like the solution. I only used autoload for samples/sequences/programs so far. I didn't know autoload loads settings as well. cheers!

Oh well, it seems free JJOS doesn't do that. Projects/Samples/Sequences/Songs are the only options for saving. I guess I'll have to upgrade to a different OS. Which one are you on?

ok, I figured it out. you just have to save as "all songs and seqs". all mixer settings are saved in that file.

Yes, been that way since 2k/2kxl.

Or you can save entire memory to a AUTOLOAD folder. That folder should contain all your presets, changes, whatever, so when powered on it will load AUTOLOAD folder automagically.
