exp packs

ok now when you create a exp pack all samples are labeled in alpha order.
is there a way to create sub folders? (i.e. kicks, snares, claps, etc.) within the exp browser?

@petegoodliffe yes!!! Be nice to point to folders instead of just content. Better organization.(expansion browser)

@bdrake71 The file browser is for directories; the expansion browser is for packs of content.

I have a Bulk file renamer. All my kicks I put "K-" in front of the names, "S-" for snares etc...

Basically you can rename multiple files at a time so you wouldnt have the tedious task of doing it 1 by 1.

yeah, i was about to post about this. pretty annoying.

really though, what the hell is the point of converting drum packs to expansions again? Is it just because it's looks cool with the picture? i mean, i get it for making packs to trade with people or whatever without having to zip up a folder but whats the point of them in a workflow sense?

its just cool i guess..

also if you do really **** with some drums and make some dope shit you can give em to people or trade or what ever..

now mpc tutor or soeone else can sell "expansion" packs..

so **** it..why not..

I don't think it's meant to be a workflow thing. They say in the video that they've noticed that the community has embraced the feature of doing and sharing the packs, or something in that vein. So it's mostly for sharing your packs, I suppose, and it's neat for that.

He's Sharing sound packs made by Tutor and other Net businesses? If that's the case then, Not Cool... If he's sharing packs created by himself or created by folks within his network then that's all good. But it's bogus for one to determine what should be done with the work and efforts of someone else.
