Hey guys. I was chopping a sample for the first time and when i was finished chopping i tried to convert them to a program and when i left the trim mode i cant seem to use any of the 1-8 pads. Not while playing the basic drum programs from Akai or even use the modes. I can't enter "load" or "trim".
Could i somehow have deactivated these pads?

How long have you had your MPC? If you just bought it was it new or used?

loose ribbon cable, I've had mine just barely pop out before on the 2000xl and this happened, it looked like it was all the way in… just snap the clip and pull the cable out and when u put it back in make sure you put it in straight…
