Most of you that see my posts know that I primarily use a 5000. Been working to compose more using the MPC software. This is the first track I wrote on this next generation MPC software. Have to admit, not as much a fan as the 5000, but it'll grow on me I'm sure.

And most of you know that I don't do hip-hop - soul, neo-soul, jazzy with a hip-hop influence. We need more soul cats on this damn forum!!! LOL

It's been a a while since i posted new beat here. Have been too busy lately.

Here is my first full beat since getting my MPC Studio. I'm very much a newbie and have a tremendous amount to learn, but figured I'd post this up anyway...

Vocal samples fitted well and beat has nice groove.

First time i've ever used 3 tracks in a song - feels like it fell together ok though? I'm obviously no good at mastering (as in, i don't) and SC often seems to overdo bass on my tracks.

Any feedback more than welcome.. (Bass and acapella levels in particular please )
