can next seq be played by midi input?

i know it can be used as live situation playing with pad.
but can i play the next seq mode via midi in?
i want to sequence the performance in my external daw but the pads dosent seem to transmit midi data when in next seq mode.

don't think so (maybe in future?). MPC only seems to accept incoming program changes to switch sequences (set in the prefs dialog). I haven't actually used this yet.

It can't, it's lack of abilities is the very reason I was trying so hard to get others behind the idea of pushing for a real linear Song mode where we could actually record pad performances and even add Solo tracks to that... viewtopic.php?f=45&t=169650

Looking closely at how some other software use to do that very thing (like those found in my write-up) would provide a really good idea of how it could work with the MPC...
