looking for bass sound suitable for hip-hip with AKAI VSTIs

There seems to be countless samples when finished installing all plugins provided by AKAI and I have no idea how to find the sound I need. Akai provides 4 different VSTI instrument(The 809, The Bank, The Wub, The noise). Can anyone tell which one has the bass sound mostly used for hip-hip music?

4 something as simple as Bass I would not rely on just Akai.

use hybrid3...it comes with the mpc and is very capable .

so it has some very fresh bass sounds. but when i bounce for a daw transfer
The track from this vst bounce is all messed up. not sure whats up.
haven't had time to bring to a beta's attention. but this needs fixed.

pk i use the dopevst plugin and i have no issues with exporting

ya the first track i did worked all well. after that is was a no go. not sure whats up. ill try a reinstall.

I read somewhere that you need Kontakt 4 in order to use the Bass Engine? Somebody heard of that? Could that cause your export problems?

Just checked with the manufacturer, apparently Kontakt 4 is not necessary...

ya def not. what i have done. is just go back and throw a trillion on that track. the midi is still there. but i realllllly like the sounds in dope. shitty little vst but really nice sounds. seriously comparable to ill minds rump shaker. that is a nice one to. i love trillian but its a beast sometimes. i usually rock the rump shaker or dope. since they have came out.

ill try to bring it to the bug thread maybe it will be fine in 1,8 or they can figure something. it might just be my set up. ill delete and reinstall today see if that works.

Actually, the guys at DopeVST emphasized that all their products are 100% MPC compatible… Thinking about getting it. If I really do, I'll let you know the performance results…

For bass I went the BSII way with a real and cheap and great sounding monophonic analog synth...I'm in love with the little gurl!

is trillion any good for hip hop production though? i messed with it in guitar center and i wasn't impressed for the price

Trillian is to bass what its sister; Omnisphere, is to synth.....Not hip-hop but EVERY-hop.
