akai must be doing something right. not much being said around here. just a bunch of newbies with god awful newbie questions.

sounds like a bunch of kids helped the akai team with sales this xmas. thats a good thing. for everybody.

glad most of yalls issues are being solved. the "beats made with ren/studio" thread has been sounding good. nice work guys.

Grammar and punctuation aside...

I believe it is because of the X-mas rush in tandem with Akai actually doing things almost correct with 1.7 and beyond. Less head-scratching bugs in the mix have quelled most of the vocal comments.

There will always be some dumbass asking "How do I hip-hop?"

For the Record: Akai has not fixed either of the bugs I have discovered. Yet they show "in progress" on the official Akai Support site...

what a tool. he needs to stay off the meth. I've had a ren three days of arrival and the studio was the same month. he must have been one of those "how do i sample?" posters and got offended, and sour cause he only has some "Un-essentials"

ya im excited too cause its now what it was support to be when it it came out. 1.8 is going to bring it further past expectation. I'm stoked. I hope they get all the little bugs fixed before 2.0.

although i have no bugs. {I'm sure i have same as y'all but just never work that way.} I'v been very happy with my unit. although I'm loosing the print on my "Stop" and "PLAY START" buttons. guess its getting used enough.

Side effect of WORK being put in on ALL MPCs!

Ahhh, the "clickety-clack" of loose STOP and PLAY START buttons.... I can recognize that sound in my sleep.

Guess you missed the threads where people were bitching about the element.

I'm guessing after 1.8 comes out, this forum will get pretty quiet – because people will be fairly happy with the Ren.
I may still be requesting the reverse loop, though

I just hope the bpm detection features make it to 1.8.

my "play start" button is caved in / broken... for the second time on my SECOND Ren... hahahaha
