5 years later, upgrading from OS1 to OS2xl

Hello,
Been a minute since I've visited these forums, however I just scored OS2xl for the MPC1000. Primarily purchased it for the quantize strength, however I'm also looking forward to messing around with the looper.
Any other key features in OS2xl that people are using a lot?

patterns, but am thinking I might go back to OSXl for that pattern to pad feature instead of the pattern mode it has in OS3

Have a look at the new program mode, the new functions in grid edit and non destructive chop in TRim mode. These are really good improvements

There's so much great stuff, it's too much to list. Lots of little stuff that doesn't sound like much in isolation, but combined together, they REALLY speed up your workflow.

I had my doubts, but the upgrade is worth every penny.

Does JJ offer any kind of discount for an OSXL password if you have OS1 installed?

Yes, all current discount deals are there on the JJOS home page.

If the machine you are wishing to upgrade currently has JJOS1 installed, then you will be given a discount on JJOS-XL.
