2GB CF Card Type 1 Tip

Hi Fam,

I have a few professional photographer friends and they used to use the Transcend CF 2GB Industrial Grade cards for some of their early digi gear. I borrowed one to see it it worked on the MPC 500 and it works like a charm.

They are cheap as chips now on ebay so I'll order a couple. They should be able to take a bit more abuse in hot DJ booths plus they are a bit tuffer for traveling about more than the normal consumer type of CF cards. Better write protection etc.

good to know the transend 2gb cards work.

i normaly try to steer clear of newer cards, anything with x2 or high speed or such superlatives written on them probably won't work.
