plugins question?

so i click on the plugins i have. (the bank, the noise, the wub) the problem is that it wont play on my pads. the only way these plugins would play is if i go to the software and use the virtual piano. also another quick question. is it possiable to use the akai mini mk2 with the renassiance?

Have you gone up the pad banks? No sound usually comes out on the A bank,. How about the D or E bank?
