Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Hey, i just recently started saving my beats instead of tracking out quickly.

I usually save a .aps and a .all

So i save all programs and sounds, and all sequences

Lately i have been running into a problem where i will load up a project and all the sounds will be there but the sequence will be from the last project i worked on.

Im not sure if this is because i always start on sequence one when making a beat or if its because im screwing something up

Please share any info or tips

peace

i name the files differently, is that not good enough?

and do you think that would solve my issue?

definitely worth saving each beat into individual folders....

but maybe try turning off the MPC in between each session.....that way there wont be a last project loaded into the MPC

save the all file and load it back up straight away....if its blank something is wrong...

If you save to zip drives then you can make partitions of your disks, this way you won't have the problem of the naming, but still you must make folders.
If you save to floppys then name the .aps and .all but it's more easy becouse any floppy it's like a folder.

yeah folders! And you make them on the mpc when saving... incase you didn't know.
