Tried Roland System-1 plugins with Ren?

Has anyone tried Roland's SH-101 and SH-2 plugins with the MPC software? They don't work in Bitwig so im hesitant.

System 1 are vst3 standart.i Don t know if Roland has decided yet if they port their plugins to vst2.4 format. not all daw s support vst3 standart.i m not 100% sure I think only cubase. studio one and sonar x3 support vst3

They have just done 2.4 vst versions .
They have also added maschine to the listed daws supported so they might be working on the other daws and squencer programs

Turns out i indeed could download a working demo of the mpc software. I thought it was only the update included... oh well. Im getting my Ren on friday *knocks on wood*. I love the software already!

Regarding roland plugins - Yes, they work!!! Phew .. was a little scared there. The SH-1 is such a good controller for any generic analog emulated synth plugin It will be a great combo these two.

I just put in a pre-ordered for the Roland MX-1, I hope it works well with either the MPC and Maschine.

I think it does! MX-1 seems to be extremely versatile! There's actually one value of the MX-1 that i put above everything else.. when using my computer for anything that involves audio, including youtube, i will use the filter to cut out the bass. Tinnitus is no joke. Too much bass for a moderate time and my ears may go numb. Using a dj-style bass cut works much better than a low shelf cut in this regard.

You say maschine AND mpc. How do you plan to hook it all up? Use Live/Bitwig in the background for loop launching/recording and keeping all the plugs together?
As i haven't even received my mpc ren yet i will start with that one as stand alone only at first. No need to complicate things too soon Once i've learned that i think ill use it as a plug in bitwig basically for loop recording. Reading the manual i don't get the impression the MPC software can record exact temposynced loops. In maschine you can decide how many bars etc. Easy enough in live.. gives me an excuse to buy a little launchpad
As long as i can get something 100% stable going with low risk of messing up.. Having said that, maybe i should settle with a wooden stick and a rock. They won't crash! They don't need power! Chicks love it!

When I use Maschine and Ren together (maschine as a plugin in MPC). I am mainly resampling or routing through maschines effects with my soundcards internal loop back option.

For the MX-1, i would just be using as a traditional mixer, mainly in it for the 16 channel routing and not the performance clip launching.

I have also ordered the mx1 to use with maschine . I'd like to get four system 1s hooked up to it too.
