This pertains to our current browser..

I've never understood why the browser only allows for a small section, maybe 5 to 7 seconds of auditioning a sample/song or source material.

Akai Please address this, imo this design is a bit weird,as most people who sample prefer to listen to the entire song or sample,to determine the best place to chop it.

What would be even better is if the browser allowed a form of timestretch to tempo(such as presonus studio one, logic, cubase mediabay, pro tools, sonar) ,as well as a cursor for quickly moving through our samples and idea's.

Thanks

Another no brainer major for additional workflow enhancements, would to please see the power, for refined code to implement drag n drop vst's from the browser.. or will the new keyboards shown at NAMM 2015 BE AN INDICATOR of a similar tagged based system of NI's Komplete Kontrol software and keyboards, brought as an entire new Akai option . ;)?

If you had done some research, it would be a no-brainer.

If you had searched this forum, you'd have noticed this has been adressed at least two times already.

Even if you had bothered to open the preferences where you can change that setting, that would have saved you a lot of time typing.

Please adress this.

kinda like school. if your acting dumb your gonna get picked on.

but no heart feelings. we have all done it at some point. most people in here regularly have no problem helping out. its just treated more like " the game is to be earned, learned, and applied, not just told" you gotta do some foot work.

the apprentice must practice diligently and grow on his own. in order for the lessons to continue.

real talk.. do you try to change your own bike tire. or does your tire sit flat until your dad changes it for you?

Yea I feel you there. I also do MMA, so im used to the extremely helpful nature of some of the other forums I frequent (mma.tv's atama forum, sherdogs F12 forum, etc.) people are very forthcoming with information when it comes to new fighters to the community. Music on the other hand, the community can be quite peculiar at times .

Me personally, im a 100% newb to the MPC. Back when I was first starting out all I had was Reason 3 (3 had just came out) and WISHED I couldve had an MPC. I took a break with music to focus on MMA and growing my business, now things on that front are doing fine so im happy I can buy an MPC Ren and learn what I can from you guys. However I wouldnt dare start a thread like the OP did lol.

I didn't mean to be as harsh as I probably was, but I don't think using the search option is a thing to miss easily. People tend to not read the manual and to ignore the most obvious settings in the preferences, so I do get annoyed if people don't. :Sigh:

Common Sense can get you a veeeery long way, mostly...
