Hoping someone can help.

I have had Ren since it first came out. Last night I hooked the Ren, a midi Keyboard to a USB hub. All of a sudden nothing is recognized anymore. I tried different computers (mac/pc) different cables and I reloaded software and all drivers. I even loaded a new OSX. Nothing has fixed any of these issues. My midi keyboard just has a blank screen ( a hard reset does nothing ) and the Ren keeps having the "AKAI" lights scroll asking to be plugged in to USB (of course it is). I have a feeling that USB somehow wiped the software off of the hardware units. Does anyone know how to reload the software on the REN without being able to us USB? Google has been no help.

You may be having a firmware issue.

Try to reinstall JUST THE REN drivers on a PC/MAC that has NEVER been touched by the Ren.

A true fresh install. Do not try ANY funny stuff because you can brick the unit. Grab the instructions and DO IT BY THE BOOK
