About hidden menus on MPC 1000.

Hello, I'm having an issue, I recently bought the MPC 1000 and was killing myself with the pads. I went on a deep search before buying that pad fix, still on the search, and made some progress. After installing the free JJ OS I could improve the pads sensibility with the 'Pad On Level' option but each of them still have a "random" sensibility. I found a thread of someone saying of pads sensibility hidden menu options , but couldn't access this menu, thought it was the OS and went back to AKAI's one but still can't get to the menu. Now I'm stuck, what can I do? Have any of you guys experienced this? Wait on a response of you guys, thanks.

Have you got the blue MPC1000 or the black one?

Either way go to mpcstuff.com and buy the fat sensitive pads from there and the pad sensitivity will be increased massively.

Not all black 1000s have upgraded pads. I think we've concluded at one point that if the back where I/Os is silver like on blue 1k then they're old style pads. Just FYI
