Sync mpc4k with Reason >6

I've tried to sync the mpc4k with reason but i didn't have any succes yet even though i followed all the descriptions. I'm starting to think it is not even possible to sync.
Did anyone manage to do this? And if so, please explain!

which one slave & which one master?
are you monitoring (MIDI-OX) on the PC incoming/outgoing MIDI signals?
are you monitoring MIDI signals on the MPC?

i thought there was only one way syncin' possible with reason, no?
(reason as a master)
