Just a update on how I'm getting on with my Gotek floppy drive emulator in my MPC 2000.
The main problems are:
1) My Xp computer very rarely recognizes any information, let alone the separate virtual partitions of 1000 virtual floppy disks.
2) Unfortunately if you try to save more than 1.40mb then get the "please insert new disk" message it will not acknowledge that you've pushed the button to next disk.
Other than that, it's a lot better than my floppy drive, which was so temperamental it was driving me mentle.
At least with this I can save a session and come back to it.
So it's a god send.
I'm not very experienced with my MPC, but what I'm learning is to save it as I go along.
Cuz I don't want to leave it on all night and fry the screen.
So in summery these Gotek Floppy Emulators are ok
But they're not going to solve mass storage problems over 1.40mb in one go.
Still, it's working for me.
