Wassup yall, I'm sure this question has been answered on the boards so if anyone can redirect me that be cool, or if yall can help me with it. How can I setup my MPC Studio to control in Logic Pro X? I want to be able to use my MPC Studio in Logic using Logics instruments and plugins. Currently I am using the MPC DAW that I got with the MPC Studio. Thanks a lot!

Are you referring to using the MPC Ren as a plugin inside of logic? If so, I found these:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elSzwRBsXak
http://www.akaipro.com/kb/article/1380

If none of those help you, here is the link to my Google search:

https://www.google.com/search?q=MPC+Ren ... afe=active

If that doesnt help, then you can leave it to the other experts here (which I am not).

Just trying to be helpful

Thanks for the links, but I'm using a MPC Studio, not a Ren. Is it possible to even use a MPC Studio within Logic?

Thanks highcaliba! Do you know how to setup the MPC Studio to be used in Logic? I'm trying to use Logics instruments to be controlled by my MPC.

Personally the MP doesn't work in logic quite the way I want it to, but for basic controlling, you may have to assign everything on the MP in midi control mode. Most of it is a little too much setting up as far as i'm concerned... It's not like Novation, or nothing like that where it automatically maps to your DAW.... Theres a few videos on youtube on setting up the studio to work in Logic.

Is there a way to use logic pro X as a Sound module with the MPC Ren and Studio??

If so, how would one go about setting this up?

Thanks

You referring to the MPC Studio, or the Ren (if it would make any difference?)? I ask because i'm debating on creating entire beats in the Ren vs. Just using the Ren for the drums, and using Logic for the rest of the instrumentation.
