MPC 60 wont boot. 3h on the screen

Hi! I have a issue with my mpc 60 that wont boot. When i turn it on, the lcd screen says 3h on the left upper corner and the floppy drive led is on. Buttons dont work. sometimes the 3h never shows up, the lcd is just blank(backlight works). sometimes also when turning it on, the disk and record leds turns on in like 1 sec. What could be the problem? I will apreciate any help and tips.

Btw. reconnecting cables and cleaning os chips didnt help. the problem is still here.
i checked the machine very carefully, no leads are broken. im thinking if the motherboard may be blown or maybe psu board isnt sending that much power to run the whole machine

try starting with the floppy power cable unplugged .

Thank you for your reply! I tested it now, unplugged even other things after that, without progress. same thing happens

I had about the same once,, I've pulled out the board where the o.s (4eproms) is installed on it, checked if they where seated in the correct place (maybe a pin isn't hitting the iron feet for the connection to be made on) I then leave it to rest for a night, because I could find anything weird with it, I placed the board back in the 60, and connected all the cables back on it, etc etc, fired it up and it worked again..... Magic.. But I was happy. This was with the 3:10 o.s.
Maybe it just needed a good rest (reboot) in my case than.

I did the same. I took them out but it didnt help. Was your 60 showing 3h on the screen too?
i noticed sometimes when i turn the contrast knob to max the pixels are shadowin away. Strange shit.

I didn't had a error code.. Just a blinker in the top left.
That told me that id didn't saw its startup "massages"

Aren't there any error codes in the manual then?
