So this may be a no-brainer for some of you but I recently made it convenient enough so that I can mix my mpc with my iPad in real time.
I did this by using the Logic Remote and having my mpc1000 go Optical In into my interface through an Octopre. I muted the interface input (obviously) and have it so I'm just mixing what is going optical in into my DAW.
I know there are numerous other apps out there that will let you control faders etc but recently with the Logic remote update you can also change parameters of 3rd Party Plug-ins via the iPad also which is think is awesome.
