Group,

Quick question. Back when I used to use Reason (Reason 3), I would create templates so that whenever I opened Reason, it would open with certain racks, drumkits, and sounds pre-loaded so that I could go right to work. Now I know on the MP we can make programs and having access to 128 drums in a single kit is beyond sufficient, im wondering if templates can be created for the Ren software?

I.E When opening the software it opens up with:

Kontakt - Custom Soundbank
Massive - Custom Soundbank
Sylenth - Custom Soundbank
RefNexus - Custom Soundbank

I know that I wont always be using the same sounds, but im just wondering if making templates like this would be possible.

I dunno, I may possibly be over-complicating something simple, I guess I could just as easily create "template" projects with everything pre-loaded then go from there. Seems like that'd be easier.

I saw that earlier when going through the books exercises. Speaking of which, there were some things in the book that I was unclear on, do I contact you here, or over at the MPC-Tutor site?

If you post those issues here we all will be able to assist you. If we can.

It may be better to not load all those demanding vst's for a template. Specially if not using.

I have neglected this myself. I will work on this too. And comment with my settings.

If there's any aspect of the MPC that you need help with, post your questions publicly on the forum and one or more of us should be able to help.

From what I know, you can do this.
it will suck alot of resources depending on the plug ins.

but yea like the post prior, once your desired template session is set up save the template by clicking the box beside 'Saves As Template' (top left hand corner) when saving the project
