On "16 level" function, the chromatic tuning are dead on, but it doesn't mean that it would tune well with other sounds.
Like Wal Martian pointed out, if the original sample is not in tune, the 16 level won't be in tune.
Plus, when perfectly pitched tone in low frequency sound is played, the pitch would sound a bit sharp in human ears. Also, when perfectly pitched tone in high frequency sound is played, the pitch would sound a bit flat in human ears.
Pianos are usually stretch tuned because of this phenomenon.
Use your ears to pitch accordingly.
