Hello folks
Need your help and advice. I am trying to connect my Akai MPC renaissance and Yamaha PSR 3000 keyboard through midi.

I am not sure if midi connection is the perfect way for this.

This is what I am trying to achieve. When I press the start button on PSR 3000, I want MPC to start the selected sequence and stop when I press stop button on the PSR keyboard. Also if I change the tempo on PSR 3000 board, I want the MPC to reflect that change by changing the tempo of the sequence playing. Please advise and I really appreciate your directions.
