Having Trouble with MIDI in Song Mode

I've recently purchased a focus rite saffire pro 14. I usually make my sequences on the mpc and then track them into pro tools. I set the sequences up in song mode as usual, but my midi seems to be messed up.

Time Code is enabled, and the daw seems to recognise the mpc as slave. frame rate is 30 for both mpc and pt. However instead of recording from sequence 1 in song mode, the mpc flies down to the last sequence and stops. If I try to record as time code in normal sequence/track mode, the tempo of the beat doubles.

Any help is really appreciated on this. I'm stuck.
