Splitting Channels? - Audacity 2.0.6

I have always previously used Cool Edit Pro - and splitting left and right stereo channels into individual mono channels was really easy....you could just drag up or down to select left or right channel....

but now I'm messing with Audacity 2.0.6 and I am stumped as to do it....

does anyone know?

I looked up the online manual and it tells you to select "Split Stereo Track" from the Track Drop-Down Menu.....but there isn't a split stereo track option....

any help would be great....

Cheers Tag One, but if you look at that guide it tells you to select 'split stereo track'. . . But that doesn't appear as an option on the version i'm using . . . . Unless i'm missing something . . .

Strange as it works on my version 2.0.6, you just click the the little black arrow on your selected track and it appears

ahhhh got it.....I was clicking on the 'Tracks' drop down menu, not the little black arrow on the track drop down menu.....
