MPC 500 via USB, not showing up on computer...

Is there a program that I am going to need to use this with my comp?
If there is a program I need, is there a free one?
also can anyone reccomend a cheap turntable that i can use with this?

SOLUTION TO ACCESS TO YOUR MEMORY CARD OF YOUR MPC:

Here is how to access the memory card from your mpc (2500 or other) from their pc or mac.

Note that I myself have a mpc 2500 SE (JJ OS XL 3.45) and a macbook pro (Yosemite latest version).

It is quite possible either to access the hard drive of his mpc or its memory card with only a usb cable to connect the MPC to his computer.

Here are the steps to follow:

Press MODE and PAD 2 :



Press SHIFT and + (under the wheel on mlc 2500):




And now you can change "hard disk" to memory card" by press SHIFT and +. You see now:



You just have to press "-" under the wheel to select "memory card":



Go to you computer and you see all you have in your memory card. Its just easy to take screenshot or update you mpc with the new version of JJ OS XL.
