It's actually a longer process to dump stems now. before, in song mode, it was waaay faster...it would be hilarious if they're (hopefully!!) adding it back right now as we speak lol. That could probably be whats adding to the wait time..maybe...iunno
From Pete on twitter: "You can export separate **programs** in song mode - this is what makes sense when you consider the audio export path."
Sounds like this is the way... and they aren't changing it any time soon. Shame because it basically makes importing a hardware MPC project and quickly tracking it for DAW mixing.
So maybe someone can chime in that understands this... I'm not following how this works now. I'll play with it to figure it out, but maybe someone has some insight.
The way it sounds, EVERY sound needs to be on its own program? If I want the kick isolated in its own audio track during export, I need to have a program with only that kick on it? Or a program that only has that one kick being triggered? If I have a kick and snare in the same program, even though they are being tracked in the MPC on different tracks, when I export, they will be combined in the same export audio track? That's what its sounding like to me, and that's just nonsense. Hopefully I'm misunderstanding.
Also, from what this sounds like, it won't matter if I combine all sequences into one big sequence... if I only have one program, there's no way to separate every track in the export?
Am I understanding this correctly?

Thanks... but looking in prefs, don't see anything that refers to exporting...
