1.8.x bug reports (1.8.0, 1.8.1 & 1.8.2)

Please post all your MPC Software 1.8.x bugs in this topic. Please list a step by step recreation, as well as your system specs (e.g. Mac OS 10.9 etc)

When. TT lab blessed us last night. I noticed that the filter GUI within The Bank was missing when inside prog edit. Went back to check this morning and software crashes every time.

Formula- open software/change drum trk to plug-in/insert the bank/chose preset/go to prog edit = software crash. Er time

its the bank and the noise only.

1.8 Kontact and Nexus Crash

Is it me, or does anyone else experience this:

I just opened up quite an older project to export it, but suddenly my track mute automation doesn't work anymore. Programs are set to read automation, the automation shows up in main view, but no automation takes place...

I am on OSX Yosemite. Couldn't confirm it on the Macbook 16GB with SSDso far, only iMac 4GB with HDD until now.

When I hit edit--> preferences no box shows and the software just freezes up.
The hardware still responds but not the software and I just have to kill it via task manager and reboot.

Without access to preferences this update is of no use to me :/

Same here on Windows 7 pc runing 32 bit software.

I've put a tweet out to Pete Goodliffe and hopefully he can help us out.

Will just have to work around it until then....thank God I don't have a show to do this weekend or I'd be .....in some deep doo doo

If you guys restart the MPC software does that correct the problem for you? I ran into the same thing so I quit and reopen and that seemed to correct the issue for me, for now.

I've quit and reopen a few times and no improvement. Still needs rebooting once I hit preferences.

Same here no luck. Even did a fresh install.

Same probs over here folks. Just installed V.1.8 smoothly. By starting the software I got a pop-up message ''Audio device setup changed! Your audio device setup has changed. Do you want to select a different device?''. --> [preferences / cancel]

By checking out the first option the program did freeze immediately and I had to use taskmanager to get rid of it. Then at the display of my hardware I got the message 'Computer stopped communicating'.

The second time I made it for a cancel. As far I could check out the program did seems to work probably. I chopped some samples, made a time stretch, yes midi works too, untill I'm going for the edit/preferences menu, it does crash over and over again. I reinstalled the latest version three times over so far and i am going for a time out. lol. However, thanks Nubian. Hopefully Pete will fix this bug asap;)

Mines is crashing my computer for some reason.

keeps saying that I have a different audio interface and then crashing when I go to preferences. my audio interface has not changed.. I am running windows 8.1.

well the intense crackle after adding or adjusting UAD effects hasnt changed..

but on a note regarding recording thru input effects my vst UAD plugs dont work, however the AU versions do...
the reason i use VST instead of AU is because in all past versions the AU plugs dont retain the settings for each instance of plugins.. VST does.. guess i gotta see if the AU plugs do retain settings now... confusing much??


otherwise so far all good.. but still no midi clock send on all 4 midi outs.. really?? that would be an awesome addition right?
