Loading sounds saved on zip disk

Hey,I saved a sequence onto zip disk for the first time,but now I can't figure out how you go about bringing what you have saved on zip back up?

Can you be a little more specific?

I assume you have the disc inserted in the drive, correct?

Also, when you save a sequence, save it as MIDI TYPE 1.

Also, are you aware that you have to save all sounds and the program that you used, in order to play the seq? A seq is just data. As in it saves how you hit the pads, pgm params, velocity, etc etc. No sound is actually 'recorded'. You have to load up the corresponding program, in order to play back the sequence.

What i do to stay organized is create a new folder for every beat that make, then save all corresponding, sounds, songs, seq, etc for that beat in it's folder.

Anyway, get back at me.

Yep, the disk is in the drive
So I guess it's not mistake #420 then

When I saved the sound to zip initially I saved it under 'save a sequence' and used midi file type one.

Maybe my first error was in there?

I have no external midi devices going in there now.If that comes into play.

Well you have to save your sequence (you did that right) but then you also have to scroll over and save your program ("Save a program and sounds") It will ask if you want to save with sounds, select yes. Save.

Then, when you want to load up your beat, load up the sequence, then load up the program, so your sounds are there.

Did you also save your program? If not, therein lies your problem.

Is that weird that it would save a sequence but not a program?
Hmmm I think for now I'll go get a brand new zip disk and try it.

So...I got it to save to zip disk now.It shows up in the folders and everything but it doesn't save with sound.
Which kinda defeats the purpose of saving a sound.

Here is what I'm doing:
Saving a sequence
Saving all sounds and programs
It's on yes when it say to save with sounds.

But something is going wrong.
Either I'm having trouble saving or trouble loading the saved sample.

Can anyone think of what's wrong?
