Formula- open software/change drum trk to plug-in/insert the bank/chose preset/go to prog edit = software crash. Er time

its the bank and the noise only.

Yep, absolutely. Just did that 3x over. Mac Yosemite.

Just tried it too with Mac Yosemite. Same results.

Just tried it on Mavericks, again with the same result, an instant crash.

Anyone have a work around for the preferences bug on Windows 7/8? This update is useless until its fixed / workaround.

Couldn't reproduce. iMac 4GB RAM and Macbook 16 GB Ram, both running Yosemite.

UAD effects still not saving their settings - when the project is reopened all settings are default. Had really hoped to see this finally beat. This one has been around for awhile now and means I can't use UAD with the MPC - a major reason I bought it.

Mac Pro
OSX Yosemite
Latest UAD software

Rocking update though.....
use the VST & it saves the settings, use the AU on input effecrts for recording & it works..
really wack but its the work around i sorted for the last 6 months
Almost Lazy, thank you so much for the workaround! Never thought about using the VST versions instead of the AU versions, as everything I do is in AU. But it works and resolves at least a year-long issue.

Anyone having a problem with adjusting the timestretch 'ratio' in the computer interface (no problem adjusting it in the hardware)?

1. Load sample and go to sample edit
2. Process > Timestretch
3. Observe the original and new BPM fields (assume both read 95.0)
4) Click and drag the ratio value up a small amount to, e.g. 105.0
5) Observe that the 'new' BPM in the software has quadrupled in size (over 400).
6) Observe in hardware that the 'ratio' value is not 105.0, it is 23.5

If I cancel that and repeat the procedure in the hardware, a ratio of 105.0 correctly decreases the 'new' bpm (in this case from 95.0 to 90.5)

This is on Mavericks, latest driver.

Copying events from track to track is very spotty. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It's driving me crazy. Also, you can't copy specific pad events from one track to another. I could've sworn we could do this in the past.

Mike28 wrote:Same probs over here folks. Just installed V.1.8 smoothly. By starting the software I got a pop-up message ''Audio device setup changed! Your audio device setup has changed. Do you want to select a different device?''. --> [preferences / cancel]

By checking out the first option the program did freeze immediately and I had to use taskmanager to get rid of it. Then at the display of my hardware I got the message 'Computer stopped communicating'.

The second time I made it for a cancel. As far I could check out the program did seems to work probably. I chopped some samples, made a time stretch, yes midi works too, untill I'm going for the edit/preferences menu, it does crash over and over again. I reinstalled the latest version three times over so far and i am going for a time out. lol. However, thanks Nubian. Hopefully Pete will fix this bug asap;)

Havin' the same issue...."Audio Device Not working...No audio will be processed." after major issues loading a xpj that is about 9.6 KB....takes a very long time so I hit cancel and the CPU was completely full....but had no issues with loading xpj's that were about 4.6 KB....now I leaped straight from 1.6 to 1.8...not sure what the deal is...i'm a rookie at this so any basic info would be helpful

In standard track view with a 4/4 measure structure. the typical 16th note grid changed from four division to three divisions.

I saved the current project and reloaded an older project version. The same three division structure was present.

I exited the 64bit MPC application and restarted. The four division structure was now present for both projects.

I'm running windows 7.

So is it wise to hold out on purchasing a Ren now??? I was waiting for the latest update to see if there would be any issue with the new features/update and low and behold.....so should I wait it out some more? I'll be working with an iMac Pro/rockin Yosemite.

Also getting this alot if I have my my audio device plugged in the usb hub, if its pugged directly to computers usb port, no problems.

I should assume It could either be a mpc software problem or my audio device drivers.

Still thought I should drop the issue for consideration.

Are you sure you didn't have a triplet (4T, 8T, 16T, etc) set under time correct?
