Do you think this SSD may be broken?

oh duh you already have a ssd my bad. is your fan making noises? im not sure i have ever heard noises coming from a circuit board... sounds dangerous. i would have it checked out or simply replace that shit

I'm pretty clueless about most of this as of now but I'm wondering if you folks have any idea as to whether one of these 'Super Talent FE8128MD2D DuraDrive ET3 128GB 2.5 inch IDE Solid State Drive (MLC)' would work for the MPC4000?
