Akai Release New MPC Tonight (IGNORE, OLD BUMPED TOPIC)

I noticed on the Akai Facebook Page:

And then this ... to create hype for the launch ...

So it's MPC related. I hope it's not a plastic controller using the MPC name. Will be a stupid move on their part and a lot of pissed of MPC users.

Anyone have light to shed on this? Feeling very excited if I must say so.

As I said in the thread about Renaissance though I am not sure on this one. It looks nice that's for sure, but being purely software based I don't know.

I am curious why they put 16 encoders (i am guessing it is because they are likely to be 360 knobs) and no faders... I kind of dont like the way that looks... it seems jammed in there.. however maybe it will have some cool implementation..
