MPC2000xl Dial

Has anyone ever had a MPC dial go out on them? If so, how much to fix or did you fix it yourself?

situation:

My dial doesn't work correctly anymore. I can still use it, but I have to apply upward pressure when turning in order for it to work. Too much pressure and the knob just slips off. (annoying).

damn that sucks...mine when I scroll one way the selections on the screen go the opposite way, but then I keep turning it, and then it eventually goes the right way...I never even move my MPC either, and it just all of a sudden acted up. Same with my F3 key, it's sticky and I have to press it at a certain angle to make it work...sucks
