Thankfully this sorted the edit>preferences crash I was experiencing on Win 7.

I still can't record any automation whatsoever for keygroups...very strange :hmmm:

when you launch your mpc software and are connected to internet, the software should prompt you to download the update.

Anyone know the setup procedure for using Data Dial Scrub in sample edit with mpc 1.8 software. The Lazy Chop Demos are great but I'm not sure about the steps that were taken to use that feature? :?

Go to edit>preferences>other

in the two boxes which say cue sample and slice sample select after

This means when you move the jog wheel or q link you will hear the scrub effect playing what will come after the cue point.

Voila!

SOME MORE DETAILS ON SETTINGS AND USE OF DATA DIAL SCRUB FEATURE

GO TO EDIT > PREFERENCES > OTHER > CUE PREVIEW (Set to After)

> SLICE PREVIEW (Set to After)

Load your Sample File > Choose SAMPLE EDIT > Click CURSOR "V" down arrow on

MPC REN to highlight Start:0 point on MPC LCD Display

Go to akaipro and download that latest update. Put it on a usb stick and take it to your studio.

There is no 1.8.1 update to download in the akai webpage.
