hereing sample and midi sound

hey can anyone help, i am sure its an easy fix just don't know what it is, i made a beat in the mp, and i have the triton connected via midi, i have samples playing in the mp, and sounds being triggered from the triton via midi, the problem is i have a sample on pad 3 that is also playing a note on the keyboard and i haven't been able to turn the note off, and its real annoying.....can anyone help a brotha out.........holla back.......

actually its playing the a sampled sound that i have loaded into the mp, from another bank, is this the scenerio of how to load up drum kits, i sampled kicks in bank a, snares in bank b, cymbols in c etc....., now its playing the midi from the keyboard and a sample from another bank of the mp, should i remove any samples off a pad, if i use that pad to play in the sequence, because its still triggering both sounds the sample and the midi, (which the midi is the one i want)
the sample was assigned to the pad when i made the drum kit........thank for your help.......i hope i explained it right....

Make sure the track in the sequence that is playing the Triton is set to MIDI not DRUM (bottom left corner of main screen). If it is set to DRUM with a midi output channel it will play MPC sounds too.
