Hi,

Here's a weird question from someone who knows nothing about the MPC Ren. :hmmm: I am selling a bunch of MPC 2000XL ZIP DISKS (PC FORMATTED) to a person who owns a REN. I do not want this user to access the actual beats (SAVED WITH .APS AND .ALL) that I've saved on those disks. So that I don't waste a bunch of time trying to delete APS or ALL from these disks, could anyone tell me whether or not the REN reads .APS and .ALL files? If not, I'll just sell him these disks as they are. Otherwise, I'll continue deleting these files. lol Thanks

simple answer just wipe the discs. if they got something to read the disc with and your stuff is still on there they can get at it. the fact that they got a Ren has really nothing to
do with it. if the data is that important to you you'll delete it.

If you have backed up the disk for yourself, and are done with whats on them. If you "re-format" the disk it will be wiped clean.
