Jjos 128 xl FILE NOT FOUND

Its 16 bit wav 44.1… works on every other device… why are some of my files not working? Also I have lots of files under similar names (variations of each other) and they are all only recognized as one sample. for example
kickdrumloopvintage01
kickdrumlookvintage02
kickdrumloopvintage03 etc etc but they all play the same sample.

please help

Try renaming them to a shorter name and see if that solves the problem.

okay cool. Any idea on whats up with the file not found part? I have renamed them even put the files into ableton and rebounced them with a new name I can't figure out why it won't read them .

Do you mind uploading the files and I'll try it on mine.

Up to 16 characters

The OS cannot differentiate file names beyond the first 16 characters. When asked to load, all it sees is a bunch of files with the same name kickdrumloopvint. This is a problem with most hardware MPCs, it's not specific to JJOS.

Stick to 16 characters or less.
