Side-Chain Duck Mac

Are there any Mac users successfully using plugins in the MPC software that gives a side-chain ducking effect? I have LFO Tool, and I think it's great, but as far as I can tell you can only set it to your tempos/bpms. I want to be able to link an effect to my kick that makes everything else duck whenever the kick hits. Or at least makes certain tracks/sounds/programs duck every time the kick hits.

Gross Beat from IL seems awesome, but I tried the alpha Mac version and it's not showing up in my plugins, even after scanning in both 32 and 64-bit versions.

Anyone Mac users have anything like this that definitely works in the MPC software?

I don't have this app yet but I'm watching it's development closely and really hope there is something on the way.

I'm testing the demo version of Track Spacer. I have no idea what I'm doing here.

Say I have some mid and high-range frequencies on track 1 that I want to dip down in volume every time my kick on track 3 hits. I really can't figure out how to set this up. I've tried Track Spacer as an insert and as a send on each of these two tracks, but nothing happens. Not even when I mess with the knobs on the plugin.

I would appreciate it if anyone could chime in and help. I'm a rookie with using effects in the MPC software and I don't know a lot of the vocab, so I don't really know how to ask, besides the fact that I want my kick on track 3 making my higher frequencies on track 1 dip every time it hits. Thanks.

Waves one knob pumper

Looks like one knob pumper just does the same thing as LFO Tool, as it is also tempo-based. I want things to duck for all of my wild, un-quantized kicks.

You could write the ducking in by hand in the level automation, copy the kick track into track one to use as a guide.

Trackspacer is a great plugin but unfortunately it can't be used in the ren software as you can't set up sends from one track to another, hopefully it will happen with an update that brings audio tracks. Maybe one day. Until then, I'd recommend using reaper with the ren, they work superb together through rearoute. Loads of post on here about setting it up.

Your a Mac user. So rearoute won't work but you can use jack os x. Again posts on here will show you how. If you want to duck/side chain without getting an expensive daw.

I'm using dbaudiowares sidechain comp v2 ... on mac...
It has a universal sidechain in that there's a switch to make one instance of the plugin a send and one instance a receive.

Otherwise I use reaper rearoute on pc. IT much more flexible with rearoute...
