I'm excited about the plug-in and expansion manager. The plug-in favorites feature look dope. The next thing i want them to add is the ability to name things from the hardware. That would almost take away my need to use a mouse. Of course they didn't let us know when this update is going to be released so we'll just have to wait and see.

I'm still holding out for realtime quantize. 8)

If they don't unveil anything new at Messe I might pick up a Studio because they're so cheap.

They click away the Maschine plugin at 4:20

Really like the new features since 1.8! Got to take the Studio out of the box again though I'm still not a big friend of the song mode and how it's displayed on the computer screen.

Some great work by Pete and Co!

Man, Akai has been REALLY stepping it up. I'm actually excited and impressed at the same damn time!

They are really trying to get me to buy one of those ADVANCE MIDI controllers too... (In the market because I am going to finally retire my XK7)

Alternate looping seems to solve the gap problem when slowing down samples, that is really cool.

Also, I'm pretty hyped on one of those Advance keyboards...

Guys, you are excellent!! Thanks to you -and Akaï- for your passion and continuous involvement in making the Ren better. It really feels that you are passionate about it.

Now, I'm sure that 1.9 will bring improvements for MPC plug-in Mode inside a DAW, right?

Like multitimbrality.

Or maybe easier use of MPC hardware as controller to input midi notes inside DAW midi tracks.

Or Renaissance pointer type saved within the DAW project.
