Hi,
My MPC 4000 has just crashed. I was turning it on and then it has turn out as if I had unplugged it. And now I can't turn the Mp in anymore.
Does anyone know if there's a fuse or something else in order to reboot the machine?
Thanks for your help.

Did you install the drives (CD, HDD) yourself? If you did there is a chance that you knicked a wire exposing the wire to bare metal, thus causing a short.

I've installed the HD drive two years ago, but all have worked fine since yesterday.

Hi Sikh,

It could be the fuse. It is 'hidden' somewhere inside the MPC, nearby the power inlet... Be carefull.

I believe some guy called Feline had similar problems some time ago. You might find him on the yahoogroups mpc4000 forum.

Cheers!

Thanks God, it was the fuse!!!
It's located near the alimentation, behind the cooler.
Thanks to all the people who have answered, you're nice!

Yes, I've bought a ceramic fuse an replaced it.
