Swapping OS versions

I freqently switch from using OS XL to the free version - depending whether I'm working in the studio or live. This might seem a dumb question, but is there a physical limit to how many times you can re-flash the OS? Is it possible to wear out the ROM chip?

Flash memory is normally rated on the order of 100s of thousands of write cycles. nothing to worry about.
