midi sequencing weird first beat missing? bug?

Hi

I'm running a 1000 with the free jjos.



Im getting really cheesed off at the moment when i try and record a simple 2 bar drum loop the sequencer seems to miss the first beat recorded eg.kick it will play when its looped round but when i hit play again it is missing then comes back when its looping around.

This is really **** with my workflow?

any suggestions? is this a bug?

what are your quantize settings? this has happened to me when i have quantize set to OFF and i'm recording stuff like punching in, because i'll record the first hit at like the very last possible tick 02.04.95 or whatever and it SOUNDS like it's on the first beat when it's just looping but when you press Play Start of course it starts from 01.01.01 so you don't hear that.

That's all i can think of might be the issue...
