My old PC needs an upgrade as it is borking out a bit with my bigger projects. If I get a Mac will my projects work on it?

Yeah same here I switch between my MacBook Pro and desktop PC all the time. no problems at all with transferring MPC projects. Only issue is using some VIs with an external hard drive. For example if you store your Kontakt libraries on the external drive when you switch between PC and Mac you will have to locate the library each time. That's because of the different ways macs and PCs read external drives, macs don't use the directory letter H:// or whatever (probably using the wrong lingo but you get the point) It always works once you do locate the right folder but it is a minor annoyance.

When you save a project using the MPC software are you able to "SAVE ENTIRE MEMORY"? I am so used to working that way in my 1K that it would hurt not having that option (plus, it would make transferring to/from systems a breeze since all your samples & programs are compiled in each project folder).

Also... for you PC users: how is your latency when jamming the pads? I have a pretty decent Asus laptop running Win7 for gaming that had mad lag when using Machine. Probably user-error but figured I would ask anyway.

Sorry to hijack but both questions seemed appropriate to stick in here.
Thanks!
