Slice feature is fading my samples?

I use jjos128xl and for some reason when i am slicing something and auditioning it it seems fine but once i commit to it and save the slices to a new program they are all faded automatically and sound bad. how do I fix this?

Adjust the ADSR settings. For one shot samples set release to 0.

setting the release to 0 did not change the fading :/

After you slice, before your program is created there is a window that pops up asking you about fade time. Could this be it?

The sample is probably set to "LOOP ON" in "Trim" menu. Turn it OFF and see if it works.

When i am done trimming a sample, i always make sure i set it back to "LOOP OFF" before leaving the "TRIM" page. Then i go straight to the AMP tab and set the sample's release to 0.

No, but in JJOS-XL you can put the cursor in the R (Release) column for instance, press and hold the "SHIFT" button, the "ALL" fuction will appear on the bottom right of the screen, just press F6 and you will be able to change all values within that column. Hopefully that also works in JJOS128XL. If not, the only other option I see if you want to set everything to 0 automatically is to create an empty project with the desired program settings and save it as a template called AUTOLOAD.
