I just switched to JJOSS FREE, due to receiving a new PCB with smoother jogwheel encoder from mpcstuff.
I quickly ran into problems I have never experienced with the AKAI OS.
First off I got a crash after loading a samples with long sample name and extracting bits from that sample. My fault no big issue...
Second, My samples gets cut off while in playback mode.
It helped discarding unused sample information and making som drum sounds to mono samples. But I did not have else anything going on but layerred drums and a simple sample?
Having to do this while in the creative process is no good for me.
And what if I want to throw on a bassline and additional samples...
So I have some questions:
Is the voices on JJOS FREE limited compared to AKAI OS?
Will it get better if I buy the paid XL version.
Or should I throw out the new PCB board and go back to AKAI OS that have always worked flawless for me?
