Good Books out there?

Books not just on mixing but covering aspects of science, psychology and any other things involved with mixing and the music process.

I found that actually learning the science of sound actually helped me understand making music and understanding the "whys" in a mix.

Just a couple books that I have read that I enjoyed

Daniel J. Levitin - "This Is Your Brain on Music: The Science of a Human Obsession"

Mike Senior - "Mixing Secrets For The Small Studio"

The Mike Senior book is pretty informative

I got that Daniel J Levitin book for christmas and haven't checked it out yet, will peep it soon

there is this book called mixing with your mind, its amazing, you should check it out. im not sure if its exactly what your looking for, but its a great very imformative book nonetheless.

A good book on chords, and progressions and if you want to go real deep study Jazz Theory and also "Counterpoint". I'm not home at the moment but when I am I'll get a list of some books from my own collection.
